Cases Repory of Granuloma Gravidarum

Abstract
|

|
Three cases of pregnant women were admitted to our dental hospital under the complaints of gum bleeding and tumor like mass, refered by dept. of O. B. G. Y. and private dental clinic. Clinical examination and histopathological technique (Biopsy) showed the diagnosis of Granuloma Gravidarum (pregnancy tumor).
1. One case was 3rd month, the others were 7th month in pregnancy and their average age was thirty one.
2. Granuloma Gravidarum of one case was developted on the gingiva between the maxillary incisors.
The another case occured interdental region of the mandibular bicuspid and canine and the other case was mandibular incisors.
3. Microscopic pictures showed predominent newly formed capillaries proliferation with erythrocytes and mild chronic inflammatory cell infiltration. There are fair by good demarcation between epithelium and underlying connective tissue.
4. Two cases were healed completely by means of Gingivectomies and the other was by surgical excision.
